Strength Through Surrender
Scripture:“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9
Reflection
By Day 6 of the fast, moments of weariness or resistance may surface. This is often where God does some of His most meaningful work. Fasting reminds us that true strength does not come from self-reliance, but from surrender.
Surrender is not giving up—it is giving over. It is releasing control and trusting God with what we cannot manage on our own. When we acknowledge our limitations, we make room for God’s strength to be revealed.
God’s grace meets us exactly where we are. In moments of weakness, He provides endurance, clarity, and peace. Today invites us to lean into His sufficiency rather than pushing through in our own strength.
Prayer
God, I surrender my weakness, fatigue, and uncertainty to You. Remind me that Your grace is enough and that Your strength sustains me. Help me trust You fully, especially when I feel weak. Amen.
Faith in Action
When you feel tired or discouraged today, pause and surrender the moment to God instead of pushing past it. Speak a prayer of dependence and allow His strength to renew you.
Reflection Questions
Where have I been relying on my own strength?
What does surrender look like for me today?
How has God shown His strength through my weakness?
Today’s Focus
Dependence on God’s strength through surrender
