Persevering to the Finish
Scripture:“Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.” — Hebrews 12:1-2
Reflection
As we enter the final days of this fast, perseverance becomes essential. The journey may feel long, and the challenges of discipline, hunger, and spiritual growth can test our endurance. Yet God calls us to run the race with steadfast faith.
Fasting is a training ground for spiritual perseverance. It teaches patience, reliance on God, and the importance of staying the course even when results are not immediately visible. Today is an invitation to fix your eyes on Jesus, remembering that He sustains and strengthens us throughout the journey.
Perseverance is not just about finishing the fast—it’s about cultivating a heart that remains faithful, obedient, and dependent on God beyond this season.

Lord, strengthen me to persevere through this fast. Help me remain focused, faithful, and steadfast, fixing my eyes on You. Teach me to trust Your timing and Your process, knowing that You complete what You begin. Amen.
