Repentance & Renewal
Scripture:“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” — Psalm 51:10
Reflection
As we continue this fast, Day 2 invites us to pause and allow God to do a deeper work within us. Repentance is not about shame or condemnation—it is about restoration. It is the gracious act of turning back to God and allowing Him to cleanse and renew our hearts.
Fasting has a way of revealing what needs God’s attention. It brings hidden attitudes, distractions, or habits into the light—not to overwhelm us, but to heal us. God’s desire is not to expose us for punishment, but to restore us for purpose.
Renewal begins when we acknowledge our need for God’s grace. When we come honestly before Him, He faithfully responds with forgiveness, clarity, and peace. Today is an opportunity to let go of what no longer aligns with God’s will and receive the renewal He offers.
Prayer
God, I come before You with a humble heart. Search me and cleanse me from anything that separates me from You. Renew my mind, my spirit, and my desires. I receive Your forgiveness and restoration today. Amen.
Faith in Action
Take a few moments today to reflect honestly before God. Consider writing down anything the Lord brings to your attention that needs to be released or surrendered. Offer it to Him in prayer, trusting in His grace and mercy.
Reflection Questions
Is there anything God is revealing that needs to be surrendered?
How do I respond when God brings correction or conviction?
What does spiritual renewal look like for me in this season?
