Growing in Trust

Scripture:“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5

Reflection

As we pass the midpoint of this fast, God often invites us into deeper trust. Fasting exposes the areas where we prefer control or rely on our own understanding instead of fully depending on Him.

Trust is not the absence of questions—it is the choice to place confidence in God’s character even when answers are not clear. When we release the need to understand everything, we make space for God to lead.

Today is an opportunity to acknowledge areas where trust may feel challenging and intentionally place them in God’s hands. Growth often happens when we choose faith over certainty.

Prayer

God, I choose to trust You with all my heart. Help me release control and lean on Your wisdom rather than my own understanding. Strengthen my faith as I follow You. Amen.

Faith in Action

Identify one area where you have been holding on tightly. Surrender it intentionally to God today through prayer, trusting Him with the outcome.
